music I

We met Nathan Laing of Habitat Studios at his (sweet) studio space yesterday and quickly realized we had found the perfect deejay for our wedding.  Nathan has been in the industry for ten years, and really understood our desire for a blend of the traditional wedding tunes and our alternative music tastes.  (Cut down on the Motown, please!)  He is modest and laid back, but not lacking in professionalism, plus he reportedly knows how to rock the house.  Yes I just said that.  We are happy to have him on board and relieved to have another vendor booked.

party down

Wedding inspiration from Party Down? I really like the emerald/chartreuse, salmon/coral color palette with a bit of Eastern influence, and Lyche's embroidered shawl.

Feels like coral beads, berry lips, nude silk, J.Crew in green and some vintage.
